Oh yeah, teeth and other stuff. . .
And since I haven't posted for three months, I supposed I should do an update on Little Miss Elisabeth. She has 8, yes, eight, teeth now (and she bit me today when I was fishing for a bit of cardboard, got me hard enough and right in between the bones, that I cried. How silly is that? I mean, I went through 5 hours of intense labour, yes, it was longer, but it wasn't too hard, but my finger hurt so much I cried. It was weird.)
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming. . .She crawls; she has been for quite a while, she was crawling a few feet at a time in November, but then Saturday a week after Thanksgiving she followed me down the hall and realized she could go more than three feet at once! So she was off!
She immediately started pulling up and soon started standing alone. It's really amazing. Daddy is her own personal playground; she loves crawling on him. She'll race away, going into hyper-crawl if she's into something that she knows I'm going to take away, like Daddy's guitar picks! She chases us up and down the hall and loves it when Daddy goes back to work and carries her down the stairs in our apartment, and I chase them!
She tried brushing Daddy's beard with my hairbrush the other day.
She can wave, and watches me closely when I was clapping my hands. Oh, this is funny, I will point at her and say, "Hey you!" so last week she started holding her fist out, and this week she figured out how to stick her finger out and point! She's a lot of fun. I think I'm going to teach her to say, "I'm more fun than a barrel of monkeys." Which I think a barrel of monkeys wouldn't be fun unless they were those trained service-monkeys, and they cleaned house. Whooo, that would really be fun!
