I Love Co-sleeping!
I really do,which is a good thing considering I think it's best for my girl! No worries if she's breathing in another room. No fussing with a monitor. She wiggles before waking up, and we're on the same rhythm/sleep pattern, so I wake up before she does, so generally she doesn't wake up fully or end up screaming before I hear her and start nursing her. Which I can lay there and doze/sleep while she nurses and drifts back to sleep.
And then in the morning, she wakes up and sits up and smiles at us. Sometimes I wake up when she's ready to nurse at 8 am and don't fall back asleep, and I get to cuddle her and touch her soft skin and hair. She's grown sooo much, she's already 9 months--where has the time gone?
This morning she woke up and saw Daddy and was crawling over me to get to him. He's gone by the time when she wakes up, so it's fun to wake up with Daddy! She is definitely Daddy's girl. This week she's started crying when he leaves after lunch. Awww!
