Whoa!
Has it really been a month since I last posted? Okay, don't answer that!
Elisabeth is rolling over back to tummy all the time. The doctor says that's harder and babies that are larger have a harder time with motor skills. Hmmm. She was slightly less than 90 percentile for height/weight/length.
Her first tooth came in last week. We realized it Saturday when I was swabbing her mouth with Grapefruit Seed Extract and something poked my finger. Bottom front right. She's so easy-going we just thought it was the thrush bothering her. But she wasn't even as fussy as she was with the thrush when it was worse. She did start nursing at 2 am again, had been sleeping til 3 a couple weeks ago. And Thursday a week ago had four messy diapers, so I'm guessing that was when the tooth was coming in. The left side is swollen, but don't feel it real close yet.
It has been pretty cold up here in ND, we brought my tomatoes in last night.
We went to the library sale and got some more lovely books for PaperBackSwap. Check it out, it's really neat. If you have books you don't want, you can post them, get credits and 'buy' books you want with your credits. When you post 10 books, they give you two credits to start with and you get credits when you refer people and they post books. I've gotten a bunch of books way cheaper than even used bookstores. :O
I'm reading one book, The Space Between Us, by Thrity Umrigar. It's requested 49 times and sounded interesting. It's a about the class system in India. One quote I like so far about a man staring inappropriately at a woman, [He is]"Acting as if he had no mother or sister." A rather apropos statement regarding any man who treats women with disrespect.
Well, some sleepyhead is awake and making noises, so off with my day.
